The Old Vic Tunnels and Without Warning Company are very pleased to have Brian Keenan with us and reading extracts from his new book, to be published in Autumn 2012.

Without Warning brings together light, sound and movement using the stage space in a unique way.
Working from images in Keenan’s compelling account of his four and a half years in captivity, four dancers and four musicians enter the anguished territory of being relegated to ‘meat’, and explore how the mind and spirit still finds ways to claw back reality, half-reality and meaning.

A rare opportunity to see these powerful and poignant early works by America’s greatest playwright as the atmospheric depths of The Old Vic Tunnels play host to Eugene O’Neill’s rarely seen classic trio of sea plays; an inspired marriage of setting and scene.

We are thrilled and slightly scared to announce that the flicker club has formed an unholy alliance with the mightyHammer, Britain’s legendary house of horror.

After their definitive Dido & Aeneas in February 2011 in the Coming Up Festival, Silent Opera are back: sexier, smarter and hungry for you to get some skin in the game.

Birmingham’s Kindle Theatre plunder the city’s native sound of Heavy Metal to create a ballsy gig for you to come and get sweaty to.

VAULT presents late-night parties, featuring live bands, DJs and cabaret, swinging until the early hours and capping off the perfect night in The Old Vic Tunnels. With acts you’ll have heard of, and some you won’t, VAULT LATES are the late night destination in February.

Eve Best returns to The Old Vic in March 2012, in John Webster's great Jacobean tragedy, The Duchess of Malfi, directed by Jamie Lloyd.
